These guidelines describe how we research, write, review, and maintain the cleaning advice and service information published on this site — so you can judge the trustworthiness of what you read here.
These editorial guidelines exist so that every visitor — customer, prospective customer, journalist, or search engine — can understand exactly how the cleaning advice, service descriptions, and local information published on kindresetcleaning.co.uk is researched, written, reviewed, and maintained. We publish under our own name. We sign what we write. We correct what we get wrong.
All cleaning advice and service descriptions are drafted and reviewed by operatives with first-hand cleaning experience in the Bristol area, not outsourced copywriters. Every published page is signed off by the business owner before going live. Contributors are expected to write only about techniques, products, and situations they have personally worked with. We do not publish content scraped from other cleaning blogs or paraphrased from AI output without hands-on verification.
Every factual claim on this site is traceable to at least one of the following: • Direct operational experience (e.g. "we descale using white vinegar at 10% dilution") • Manufacturer documentation (product safety data sheets, application instructions) • Authoritative UK sources (Bristol Water hardness data, UK Government guidance, HSE COSHH guidance, Citizens Advice) • Peer-reviewed or government-backed research where relevant Where a claim is based on our opinion or preference rather than external evidence, we mark it as such ("in our experience", "we prefer").
Statements about Bristol postcodes, water hardness, Clean Air Zone boundaries, and housing stock are cross-checked against official sources at least every 12 months and updated whenever a public change is announced: • Water hardness: Bristol Water published hardness figures per postcode • Clean Air Zone: Bristol City Council CAZ boundary data • Postcode coverage: Royal Mail postcode directory • Housing stock / era: ONS Census data and Bristol Housing Market Assessments If any of these change, the relevant pages are updated and the "updatedAt" date on that service or location record is revised.
Service descriptions describe exactly what is included in that clean — no more, no less. If a task is not included by default (for example, oven cleaning in a standard regular clean), we say so. Starting prices shown on the site are honoured for the property sizes described. Where a property falls outside those parameters, we provide a revised quote before any work begins. We do not advertise a price we are not prepared to deliver on.
Customer reviews displayed on the site are verified against our booking records. We never fabricate, incentivise, or alter reviews. Reviews are published with the customer's written consent. Aggregate star ratings are only shown on pages where the rating is calculated from a genuine set of verified reviews for that specific service or location — we do not reuse the same rating across every page of the site. This is both a Google rich-result policy requirement and a matter of honesty to readers.
We sometimes use AI tools (for example, to draft an initial outline, suggest phrasing, or check grammar). Any AI-assisted draft is reviewed, fact-checked, and substantively rewritten by a human with first-hand cleaning experience before publication. We do not publish unreviewed AI output, and we do not use AI to fabricate statistics, customer quotes, case studies, or qualifications.
This site does not currently carry third-party advertising, sponsored posts, or affiliate links. If this changes, any sponsored or affiliate content will be clearly labelled at the top of the relevant page, and our recommendations will never be driven by commission.

We will: • Acknowledge your message within 2 working days • Verify the claim against our sources • Correct the page within 7 days if the error is confirmed • Note material corrections at the foot of the page with the date of correction Minor copy-edits (typos, formatting) are made silently. Substantive changes to advice, pricing, or factual claims are logged.
Content decisions are made by the editorial team — not by advertisers, partners, or suppliers. Where we recommend a product (for example, a specific eco-friendly cleaner), that recommendation reflects our genuine operational preference, not a commercial arrangement.
